Careers - FILLED!
DESIGNER TO SHARE OUR VISION
Valley Truss
Looking for someone to help us implement our vision
of how building & renovating should be. We change lives and
communities.
A job to change lives
Each project we undertake changes a single space forever. Our trusses
cover huge spans: where there used to be wall, there's now open
space. Air flow in a commercial building, conversation between departments.
Our customers can live, breathe, communicate and move differently
through wider spaces, open areas, seamless environments.
A stunning landmark building, a bank, retro inside: carved up, employees
confined to stuffy spaces, is now open and airy, inviting, workable
look up - behind that smooth ceiling are trusses that you had a
hand in designing.
Our challenges are unique and varied. One day a million dollar heritage
home, the next a growing family's home requires an addition. With
prefabricated framing components additions are magical and fast.
A family watches our truck pull up, loaded with the framework of
their future. 24 hours later, kids around the table eating breakfast,
the new baby's room is almost ready. Our company has changed their
lives.
You are the designer, you have executed efficiently and professionally
what the client's blueprints called for. Our idea of the future
is to build it better, engineer it better, and prefabricate it on
time every time. If you understand the impact of our industry, and
the future it holds, we'd like to hear from you.
GREEN FRASER VALLEY LIVING
Green is the primary color, twelve months of the year, in the Fraser
Valley. That's where we are located. Whether you choose to raise
your family in the tranquil valley or prefer the faster life in
the lights of Vancouver, the choice is yours. This can be a life-style
decision as well as a career opportunity.
WHO WE ARE
Our company is mid size, small enough to feel like you're family
but big enough to tackle some monster projects. Have a question?
Walk across the hall to the president - he's the guy in blue jeans
talking to a customer. Your design expertise will show up across
great buildings in the pacific northwest. Our products have long
lives.
We have the dream, do you have the experience?
WHAT WE'D LIKE YOU TO BE
Someone with a design background interested in residential wood
frame construction.
Someone who wants to complete their ASTTBC certification while
being trained to be an expert roof truss and/or panel designer
Must have a background in or knowledge of wood frame construction
or a related post secondary diploma or degree.
CAD knowledge beneficial.
