Careers - FILLED!

The Best Driveline Mechanic
Company Confidential

Repair happy, customizing savvy, fix it minded Driveline Mechanic required for an Alberta based truck, equipment co. We're looking for the Crocodile Dundee of mechanics, a man who wants to save the day, to be our hero. The strong but relatively silent type who smiles at his wife when the blender breaks and fetches a butter knife. Five minutes later, the blender is working!

An authentic problem solver, a practical solution finder, you tinker, you putter, you are more than capable of pulling and putting back together anything you put your hands on, and better yet, modifying it, or sitting at the dinner table and sketching on a napkin how you could rebuild that blender to mix faster! Further, you've replaced enough transmissions, clutches and circuit systems to know that a customized pin on a tow truck, and a modification to an 18 wheel flat bed will take less than an hour each. You've done it before, you've seen it before. You can juggle projects with the same efficiency you do those cherry Danish in the lunch room.

We are the big boys in our industry, the most genuine and no nonsense group of truck equipment specialists in Western Canada. 37 years in business, 5 locations. We are 100% Canadian owned and operated. We take pride in doing what we do well, in doing it right the first time.

What We Would Like You to Bring with You:

  • 4+ years working as a driveline mechanic or in a similar capacity elsewhere.

  • Know how to assemble, straighten and balance all series of drivelines.

  • Know how to dismantle and reassemble constant velocity assemblies

  • Know how to troubleshoot driveline problems and the ability to make it right the first time

  • A straight ahead, let's get on with the job' attitude. (Holding your Danish between your teeth and using both hands to tinker with something might be one way this is revealed).

  • Confidence in your abilities in your work.

It's your career. It's exciting. It's with us.

Qualified applicants please send a covering letter and resume outlining your work (trade) history to Heidi, at or fax to 604.931.3378.
